Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Presales Consultant to join our US team in Virginia. This onsite role collaborates with sales, engages customers, and leads technical demonstrations of HPE solutions to accelerate revenue.

You will design and validate Proof of Concept tests, translate customer requirements into actionable environments, and present results with impact. Travel may be required to engage with clients and partners.

Qualifications

BS in engineering/computer science/telecommunications.
8–10 years of experience in the networking industry.
Direct customer experience.
Advanced knowledge of test plan methodologies.
Excellent presentation and technical writing skills.
Knowledge of network design solutions for the technology area.
Advanced knowledge of security protocols and architectures.

Responsibilities

Develop, configure, debug and present optimized POC test configurations per solution architectures or customer requirements.
Consultative support for sales teams and customers for POC test plan design.
Present test methodologies and results to align with customer requirements and drive revenue.
Define, develop and present Reference Test Plans to validate attributes and showcase solutions.
Review and approve POC test plans to meet customer requirements.
Manage POC staging time for plan refinement and issue resolution.
Lead POC visits with accounts/customers/partners and manage all technical aspects.
Follow POC and Lab procedures for smooth operations and engagements.
Achieve Expert Level certification in the chosen technology area.
