Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Security Operator 3 to act as the first line of contact for employees, visitors, and vendors, ensuring safety and smooth facility operations. You will enforce access control, escort, and tour protocols, while coordinating with SPOC for incidents and emergencies.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, strong communication, and the ability to build relationships with internal teams and external partners across SpaceX facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a customer service or facility security position.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track special events and visits.
• Provide high quality customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Interface with high-level internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure knowledge and implementation of access control, escort, and tour protocols.
• Coordinate with Security leadership and SPOC for incidents or emergencies.
• Monitor site surveillance camera system and prepare incident reports.
• Build relationships with SpaceX departments and external partners.
• Oversee multiple projects without direct supervision.
