Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Security Operator 3 to safeguard facilities while delivering exceptional customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors. The role emphasizes enforcing access controls, escorts, and tours, and coordinating with SPOC and leadership during incidents.

The position requires substantial experience in security or related customer-facing roles, plus strong communication and relationship-building skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 5+ years of experience in a customer service or facility security role.

Responsibilities

• Track special events and visits.
• Provide high quality customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Interface with high-level internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure knowledge and implementation of access control, escort, and tour protocols.
• Coordinate with Security leadership and SPOC for incidents or emergencies.
• Assist emergency responders and monitor site surveillance.
• Prepare clear incident reports and report maintenance issues.
• Build relationships with SpaceX departments, landlords and building owners for security ops.
