Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Security Operator 3 to oversee events, access control, and guest flow across multiple campuses. You will collaborate with internal teams and leadership to maintain secure operations and respond to incidents.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and security experience, with availability for varied shifts and compliance with background checks and security clearances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in customer service or facility security

Responsibilities

• Track special events and visits.
• Provide high quality customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Interface with high-level internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure thorough knowledge and effective implementation of all access control, escort, and tour protocols and procedures for employees, customers, vendors, and guests at SpaceX facilities.
• Coordinate with Security leadership and the SpaceX Protective Operations Center (SPOC) as necessary to initiate timely notifications and response measures for incidents or emergencies; assist emergency response personnel; monitor site surveillance; prepare incident reports; report maintenance and alarms.
• Build relationships with SpaceX departments and leadership, and with landlords and building owners regarding day-to-day security operations and emergencies.
• Oversee implementation of multiple projects without direct supervision.
