Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Security Operator 3 to serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and vendors, and to enforce access control and safety protocols at SpaceX facilities. The role involves coordinating with leadership and emergency responders, producing incident reports, and maintaining strong cross‑department relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 5+ years of experience in a customer service or facility security position.

Responsibilities

• Track special events and visits.
• Provide high quality customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Interface with high-level internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure knowledge and implementation of access control, escort, and tour protocols.
• Coordinate with Security leadership and SPOC to notify and respond to incidents or emergencies.
• Assist emergency response personnel dispatched to a SpaceX site.
• Prepare clear and concise written incident reports.
• Report maintenance, facility, and technology issues and alarms.
• Build relationships with SpaceX departments and landlords for day-to-day security operations and events.
• Oversee multiple projects without direct supervision.
