Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Security Operator 3 to support our facilities, ensuring safety and assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with professionalism. You will monitor access control, escort, tours, and incidents, while coordinating with SpaceX leadership and the Protective Operations Center (SPOC) to ensure quick, safe responses.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, 5+ years in security or customer service, and the ability to obtain required clearances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in a customer service or facility security position.
• Ability to obtain or hold required clearances and licenses.

Responsibilities

• Track special events and visits.
• Provide high quality customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Ensure knowledge and implementation of access control, escort, and tour protocols.
• Coordinate with Security leadership and SPOC to notifications, incident response, and emergencies.
• Prepare clear incident reports and report maintenance or security issues.
• Build collaborative relationships with other SpaceX departments and with landlords/building owners.
• Oversee multiple projects and security operations across campuses.
