Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a part-time Security Operator 2 to serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors at SpaceX facilities. You will uphold access control protocols, conduct tours, and support event security.

The role emphasizes high-quality service, incident reporting, and collaboration with Facilities, HR, and Protective Operations Center. A high school diploma and 3+ years in security or customer service are required; first aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 3+ years of experience in customer service or facility security
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ability to de-escalate disputes and/or conflicts
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• First Aid/CPR/AED certifications

Responsibilities

• Track special events and visits
• Provide high-quality customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors
• Ensure knowledge and implementation of all access control, escort, and tour protocols for SpaceX facilities
• Coordinate with Security leadership and the SpaceX Protective Operations Center (SPOC) to initiate timely notifications and response measures
• Assist emergency response personnel and monitor site surveillance systems
• Prepare clear and concise incident reports and report maintenance issues
