Job summary

EY's Security Technology Services (STS) Lab in Seattle serves as the innovation engine behind EY's cybersecurity platform, responsible for building and improving security tooling.

As the STS Lab Service Manager at the Assistant Director level, you will own the lab's portfolio, manage intake and prioritization, shape the roadmap, and govern funding while serving as the primary escalation point for stakeholders and leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT Service Management, Product Management, Program Management, or Security Engineering leadership.
• Single accountable owner for a technology service, platform, or engineering program—budget, roadmap, and reporting.
• Design and manage intake and prioritization processes in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Strong financial governance: budget tracking, cost allocation, funding requests, and variance reporting.
• Experience delivering executive-level reporting and dashboards on service health, roadmap status, and financial performance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services for governance (not necessarily hands-on).
• Experience operating in a large, global, matrixed organization.
• Excellent documentation skills; ability to produce governance artifacts and logs.

Responsibilities

• Act as product owner for the STS Lab service catalog; define and communicate scope, status, and value.
• Own end-to-end intake for lab requests; apply prioritization to align demand with capacity.
• Develop and maintain the STS Lab roadmap across engineering, tooling, and operations.
• Own the lab's budget: track spend, allocate costs, and report financial health to leadership.
• Design and deliver regular reporting on lab performance and roadmap progress for governance bodies.
• Serve as the primary escalation path for lab issues and stakeholder concerns.
• Establish and manage the lab's operating cadence: stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews.
• Coordinate with vendors during evaluations and POC phases; manage SLAs and contracting obligations.
• Collaborate with IAM, Defender/Sentinel, Purview, and Endpoint SMEs to align lab services with needs.
• Ensure governance and compliance with EY standards and change management processes.
