Job summary

EY is seeking a STS Lab Service Manager to own the lab's governance, budget, and roadmap in a senior leadership capacity. You will define and manage the lab service portfolio, oversee intake and prioritization, and collaborate with cross-functional security SMEs to align with EY's strategic objectives.

You will partner with the STS Lab Lead and Global Information Security leadership to ensure the lab operates as a well-governed, funded engineering platform, delivering executive-level reporting

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT Service Management, Product Management, Program Management, or Security Engineering leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience as a single accountable owner for a technology service, platform, or engineering program.
• Proven ability to design and manage intake and prioritization processes in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Strong financial governance skills: budget tracking, cost allocation, funding requests, and variance reporting.
• Experience delivering executive-level reporting and dashboards on service health, roadmap status, and financial performance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and subscription cost management as a governance owner.
• Experience operating in a large, global, matrixed organization.
• Excellent documentation skills; ability to produce governance artifacts and decision logs.

Responsibilities

• Product & Service Ownership — act as the product owner for the STS Lab service catalog and communicate the scope and value to stakeholders.
• Intake & Prioritization — manage end-to-end intake for lab requests and apply prioritization frameworks.
• Roadmap Management — develop and maintain the lab roadmap across engineering and operational workstreams.
• Funding & Budget Governance — own the lab budget, track spend, and report financial health to leadership.
• Reporting & Metrics — design and deliver regular reporting on lab performance and capacity utilization.
• Escalation Management — serve as the primary escalation path for lab issues and blockers.
• Operating Cadence — establish the lab's operating rhythm with stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews.
• Vendor & Partner Engagement — coordinate with technology vendors during evaluations and contracts.
• Cross-functional Collaboration — build relationships with IAM, Defender/Sentinel, Purview, and Endpoint Security SMEs.
• Governance & Compliance — ensure compliance with EY policies and maintain audit-ready documentation.
