Job summary

Convergint is looking for a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support customers, respond to service calls, carry out Customer Support Programs and small projects. You will diagnose, repair, install and test security systems while maintaining safety standards.

Minimum 3–5 years servicing access control systems, high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license are required. Travel locally; great team culture and equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and emergency service calls, maintenance visits, and install projects as needed.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair security systems and install new equipment.
• Complete accurate service reports to support invoicing and costs.
• Provide cross-training and collaborate with other specialists.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
• Assist with system upgrades and small projects as required.
