Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers by responding to service calls, performing maintenance, and completing small projects. You will diagnose, repair, and install security systems while maintaining detailed service reports and upholding safety policies.

You must have solid technical skills in fire and electronic security, a valid driver’s license, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems preferred.
• Relevant field service experience is a plus.
• Security license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and some non-routine service calls on a timely basis.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair defective parts and systems.
• Install projects as necessary and perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operations and cross-train on services.
