Job summary

RTX’s Naval Power Engineering Execution Department seeks an Operations Manager to drive efficient engineering operations across the NP SBU Engineering organization. The role oversees capital planning, staffing and demand forecasting, clearance processing, CORE and goal alignment, and monthly reviews, partnering with leaders to ensure strong execution in a hybrid Tucson, AZ setting.

A U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

Experience operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working across functions and disciplines, including influencing without authority.
Experience collaborating with senior leaders.
Experience with CapEx planning or execution.
Experience with Power BI or Power Apps.

Responsibilities

Support the NP Engineering leadership team in efficient and effective operations.
Support Capital planning and execution activities.
Supports staffing and demand forecasting.
Facilitates CORE and annual goal alignment processes.
Drive process improvements into organization operations.
Collaborates across NP Engineering leadership team, disciplines, and governance organization. Travel is required to meet organizational objectives.
