RTX is seeking an Operations Manager to drive efficient engineering operations within the Naval Power (NP) Engineering Execution Department. The role oversees capital planning, staffing, demand forecasting, and governance processes to ensure alignment and strong execution across engineering teams. The position is hybrid, based in Tucson, AZ, with travel to meet objectives.

A DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required to begin, reflecting the sensitive nature of the work and security

Qualifications

• Experience operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working across functions and disciplines, including influencing without authority.
• Experience collaborating with senior leaders.
• Experience with CapEx planning or execution.
• Experience with Power BI or Power Apps.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required before the start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Support Capital planning and execution activities.
• Supports staffing and demand forecasting.
• Facilitates CORE and annual goal alignment processes.
• Drive process improvements into organization operations.
• Collaborates across NP Engineering leadership team, disciplines, and governance organization.
• Travel is required to meet organizational objectives.
