Job summary

RTX's Naval Power Engineering Execution Department in Tucson, AZ, is seeking an Operations Manager to drive efficient engineering operations. The role manages capital planning, staffing, demand forecasting, clearance processing, and alignment processes to enable strong execution and operational excellence.

This hybrid position requires active DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and travel to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working across functions and disciplines, including influencing without authority.
• Experience collaborating with senior leaders.
• Experience with CapEx planning or execution.
• Experience with Power BI or Power App.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required before the start date.

Responsibilities

• Support the NP Engineering leadership team in efficient and effective operations across the organization.
• Support Capital planning and execution activities.
• Supports staffing and demand forecasting.
• Facilitates CORE and annual goal alignment processes.
• Drive process improvements into organization operations.
• Travel is required to meet organizational objectives.
