Job summary

RTX is seeking an Operations Manager for the Naval Power Engineering Execution Department. The role focuses on driving efficient engineering operations, capital planning, staffing forecasts, and governance alignment to enable strong execution and operational excellence.

This hybrid position can be based in Tewksbury, MA, Plano, TX or Tucson, AZ, requiring collaboration with senior leaders and occasional travel, with a security clearance required prior to start.

Qualifications

• Experience operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working across functions and disciplines, including influencing without authority.
• Experience collaborating with senior leaders.
• Experience with CapEx planning or execution.
• Experience with Power BI or Power App.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required before the start date.

Responsibilities

• Support the NP Engineering leadership team in efficient and effective operations across the organization.
• Support Capital planning and execution activities.
• Support staffing and demand forecasting.
• Facilitate CORE and annual goal alignment processes.
• Drive process improvements into organization operations.
• Collaborate across NP Engineering leadership team, disciplines, and governance organization.
• Travel is required to meet organizational objectives.
