Job summary

RTX is seeking an Operations Manager for the Naval Power (NP) Engineering Execution Department. The role drives efficient engineering operations, supports capital planning, staffing, demand forecasting, and coordination across leaders to ensure execution excellence.

The position is hybrid and based in Tucson, AZ, Plano, TX, or other RTX sites; candidates must hold an active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience across functions, including influencing without authority.
• Experience collaborating with senior leaders.
• Experience with CapEx planning or execution.
• Experience with Power BI or Power Apps.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the NP Engineering leadership team in efficient and effective operations across the organization.
• Support Capital planning and execution activities.
• Support staffing and demand forecasting.
• Facilitate CORE and annual goal alignment processes.
• Drive process improvements into organization operations.
• Collaborate across NP Engineering leadership team, disciplines, and governance organization.
• Travel is required to meet organizational objectives.
