Job summary

RTX's Naval Power (NP) Engineering Execution Department is seeking an Operations Manager to drive efficient engineering operations across the NP SBU. The role manages capital planning, staffing, demand forecasting, clearance processing, and execution support.

This hybrid position can be based in Tucson, AZ, with travel as needed. U.S. citizenship and a transferable Secret security clearance are required; relocation benefits may be available.

Qualifications

• Autonomous operator in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience across functions and influencing without authority.
• Experience collaborating with senior leaders.
• Experience with CapEx planning or execution.
• Experience with Power BI or Power Apps.
• Active and transferable Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the NP Engineering leadership team in efficient and effective operations across the organization.
• Support Capital planning and execution activities.
• Supports staffing and demand forecasting.
• Facilitates CORE and annual goal alignment processes.
• Drive process improvements into organization operations.
• Collaborates across NP Engineering leadership team, disciplines, and governance organization.
• Travel is required to meet organizational objectives.
