Job summary

RTX's Naval Power (NP) Engineering Execution Department seeks an Operations Manager to drive efficient, high‑impact engineering operations. You will manage capital planning, staffing and demand forecasting, clearance processing, and alignment with NP leadership to enable strong execution.

This hybrid role can be based in Tucson, AZ, Plano, TX or Tehksbury, MA. Travel is required and a DoD clearance is required before start.

Qualifications

Experience operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working across functions and disciplines, including influencing without authority.
Experience collaborating with senior leaders.
Experience with CapEx planning or execution.
Experience with Power BI or Power App.
Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required before the start date.

Responsibilities

Support the NP Engineering leadership team in efficient and effective operations across the organization.
Support Capital planning and execution activities.
Supports staffing and demand forecasting.
Facilitates CORE and annual goal alignment processes.
Drive process improvements into organization operations.
Collaborates across NP Engineering leadership team, disciplines, and governance organization.
Travel is required to meet organizational objectives.
