Job summary

Serco is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to support U.S. Navy CNIC N6 on-site in Naples, Italy. The role requires DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and strong helpdesk and IT support skills.

Responsibilities include account management, telecom services, VTC setup, data encryptors, and security policy implementation. Up to 10% travel may be required. AHS education options may apply depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required
• High School Diploma/GED or higher education options with relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Resolve network and domain user trouble calls.
• Activate or reactivate telecom services.
• Manage user accounts including SIPRNet/NIPRNet access and forms.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade SIPRNet/NIPRNet and telephone drops.
• Maintain data encryptors and VTC endpoints; assist with VTC setup.
• Install, setup, maintain and upgrade telephones including VoSIP.
• Support installation and maintenance of cable infrastructure (fiber/copper).
• Provide assistance with printers, scanners, and other office devices.
• Assist in applying security policies on user computing platforms.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare cost estimates for user requirements.
• Provide user training on systems when required.
