Job summary

Serco is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to support the United States Navy CNIC N6 program, based out of Naples, Italy. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and a strong background in IT helpdesk and network support.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience or 6 with an Associate's, 4 with a BA, or 2 with a Master.
• DoD 8570 Level II cert such as Security+, CAP, CASP, CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Ability to travel up to 10% and possess a valid U.S. Passport.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve network or domain user trouble calls.
• Activate or reactivate telecom services.
• Troubleshoot user domain accounts (SIPRNet/NIPRNet) and related forms.
• Install and maintain SIPRNet/NIPRNet, telephony drops, and data encryptors.
• Support VTC endpoints setup and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and upgrade cable infrastructure (fiber, Ethernet).
• Install and support VoSIP and general telephony systems.
• Assist with printers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
• Assist in applying security policies for user computing platforms.
• Conduct site surveys and determine user domain requirements.
