Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Service Advisor to sell and schedule essential service work for commercial trucks. You will gather customer details, perform walk-around inspections, diagnose using J-Pro, and communicate findings and costs clearly to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of service experience or equivalent.
• Manufacturer training or equivalent.
• Valid CDL license.
• Driving record must be insurable by the company carrier.

Responsibilities

• Gather customer complaint details and expectations.
• Perform vehicle walk around inspection and verify information.
• Connect to J-Pro; perform on-the-spot diagnostics and print reports.
• Advise customers on vehicle care and maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Write up and verify service inputs; obtain customer signatures.
