Job summary

West Elm is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers to express themselves in their home and close sales at the cash wrap. You will promote continued engagement and keep customers connected with our Brand.

You will consult with clients in-store and in-home, measure spaces, present design plans, and stay informed on promotions to drive sales while delivering world-class service.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills.
• Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders within a variety of sales channels.
• Experience in working with the elements of design preferred.
• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home.
• Measure and assess clients' living spaces.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions to meet sales goals.
• Provide services including gift wrap, registry, orders, and deliveries.
• Demonstrate product knowledge of design studio range.
