Job summary

West Elm, part of Williams-Sonoma, Inc., is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers to express themselves in their home. You will help customers and close sales at the cash wrap while promoting ongoing engagement with our Brand.

You'll use design expertise in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home, measure spaces, present design plans, and stay current on promotions to achieve sales and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and clienteling skills.
• Ability to coordinate complex large orders across channels.
• Experience in design preferred.
• Retail sales experience 1–2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home to design living spaces and drive store sales.
• Perform in-home consultations with space measurements and assessments.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve sales goals.
• Assist customers with services including gift wrap, gift registry, orders, and deliveries.
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge across the design studio assortment.
