West Elm is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers and close sales at the cash wrap. You will assist clients in-store and in-home with design plans, then ensure follow-through with service excellence.

The role emphasizes knowledge of our design studio assortment and delivering world-class service to drive engagement. Applicants should have strong communication, clienteling, and multitasking skills, with 1–2 years in customer service and retail sales.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and clienteling skills.
• Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders.
• Experience in design is preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home to drive store sales.
• Conduct in-home measurements and assess living spaces for design planning.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs and space.
• Stay informed on current promotions to hit sales and productivity goals.
• Support customers with gift wrap, registry, catalog/internet orders, and furniture orders.
• Demonstrate product knowledge of the design studio assortment.
