Job summary

West Elm seeks a Design Studio Specialist in the United States to inspire customers to express themselves in their home and close sales at the cash wrap. You will promote ongoing customer engagement and keep clients connected with our Brand.

You will conduct in-store consultations and in-home visits, measure spaces, create design plans, and leverage current promotions to meet sales goals. The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and a customer-service background.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home to drive store sales.
• Conduct productive in-home consultations including measuring and assessing client spaces.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs, style and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions to achieve sales goals.
• Assist customers with services including gift wrap, registry, catalog/internet orders, special orders and furniture orders.
• Demonstrate product knowledge of the design studio assortment.
