Michaels in Adrian, MI is hiring for a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will support stock, BOPIS/SFS, and framing-related duties while upholding store recovery and safety standards.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, positive teamwork, and adherence to SOPs in a busy retail setting with opportunities across framing and product recovery. This position is an on-site store role in the Adrian area.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go-back
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain compliant operations
• Interact respectfully and project a positive image as a team member
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
