Job summary

Michaels seeks team members for retail roles in-store. You will assist customers, manage checkout with cash handling, and promote Rewards and credit options. The position supports omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS, while helping unload trucks and keep the store well-stocked and merchandised.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience and can stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work nights or weekends as needed. Competitive pay and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and reach high shelves.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide fast checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and store recovery to maintain in-stock condition.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
