Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate to help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store while promoting the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.

The role requires standing for long periods, mobility throughout the store, and adherence to SOPs, safety policies, and corporate guidelines. Employment is at Michaels’ store in San Diego area.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC survey and participate in buy online pickup in store (BOPIS) and ship from store (SFS).
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and merchandise recovery.
• Support store safety, SOP adherence, and company policies.
