Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers in finding products. You will ensure a fast checkout, handle cash responsibly, and support omnichannel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

You may participate in truck unload, shelving, and planograms, while maintaining store standards and in-stock conditions. This role may involve framing-related tasks and weekend/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to move around the store and handle lifting of boxes.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties
• Support store recovery and in-stock levels; handle returns and go-backs
• Cross-train in framing selling and production when needed
