Job summary

Michaels Stores in Dunn, NC is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers, locate products, and provide fast checkout. You will engage shoppers, support merchandising, and maintain a clean, well-stocked store.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift boxes, and a retail schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer service experience is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move items as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and store maintenance
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies
• Interact respectfully; be a role model for other Team Members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
