Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store associate for our Durham, NC location. You will help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.

You will also support in-store merchandising, truck unloads, and omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS. Responsibilities include promoting the Rewards program, assisting with frame shop cross-training, enforcing SOPs, and maintaining a well-stocked, safe store.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Educate customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
