Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional/Receptionist to warmly welcome clients, answer phones, and connect customers with the right tax professional. You will help schedule appointments and ensure each client’s needs are met, in person or virtually.

As a friendly front-office presence, you will maintain a tidy workspace, assist teammates, and handle other duties as assigned while delivering a high-standard client experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a customer service environment.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Computer proficient with the ability to use Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner.
• Match clients with the best-suited tax professional for their needs.
• Schedule clients how they would like to be scheduled.
• Help to ensure all clients needs have been met during service both in person, over the phone or virtually.
• Maintain office cleanliness and organization of resources with team members.
• Other duties as assigned
