H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to warmly greet clients, manage scheduling, and support daily office operations in an in-person tax office.

You will work with tax professionals, handle check-in and document intake, and maintain a professional office environment while protecting confidential information. This role offers training and a path into tax preparation or office leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, client-centric environments.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication for client service and teamwork.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities throughout the day.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficient with basic computer programs and digital tools (Microsoft Office, Teams, scheduling systems).
• Eligible to work evenings and weekends during tax season.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression as the face of the office
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional based on their needs
• Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents
• Maintain office organization and cleanliness to support a smooth, professional client experience
• Collaborate with tax professionals and team members to ensure seamless daily operations
• Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality, discretion, and care
