H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to greet clients, manage check-in, schedule appointments, and support daily office operations in a fast-paced tax office. This in-person role offers exposure to tax professionals and potential growth into tax preparation or leadership.

You will work evenings and weekends during tax season, ensuring a welcoming, organized client experience and confidentiality with sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and serve clients professionally.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities throughout the day.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfort using basic computer programs and digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams and scheduling systems).
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during tax season.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression as the face of the office.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional based on their needs.
• Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents.
