Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to greet clients, manage scheduling, and support daily office operations in person during tax season. You will pair clients with tax professionals and maintain a welcoming, organized office environment.

This in-person role requires strong communication, multitasking, and confidentiality, with evening and weekend availability. Prior hospitality or customer service experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression as the face of the office.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional based on their needs.
• Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents.
• Maintain office organization and cleanliness to support a smooth, professional client experience.
• Collaborate with tax professionals and team members to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality, discretion, and care.
