Job summary

Fish City Grill Edmond is seeking a Line Cook to prepare, cook and present seafood dishes with PRIDE while maintaining a clean, safe work area. You will follow recipes, adhere to food safety standards, and work to ensure top-quality, timely meals for Customers.

The role requires prior prep/line cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant, basic math/communication skills, and the ability to multitask with limited supervision while supporting the team.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED preferred.
• Culinary degree or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year minimum experience as a Prep/Line Cook in a full service restaurant; knowledge of cooking techniques; or equivalent education/experience.
• Good reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good judgment and decision making abilities.
• Must work well with limited supervision and interact with team members.

• Prepare and portion items according to Fish City Grill/Half Shell’s standards and recipes.
• Adhere to ticket times and flow to ensure high-quality product for Customers.
• Assist with receiving, labeling, and storing product per FIFO.
• Open, ongoing, and closing sidework; support other Line Cooks as needed.
