Job summary

Fish City Grill in Plano, TX is seeking a Line Cook to prepare, cook and present Serious Seafood according to standards and PRIDE while keeping a safe, clean work area. You will follow all policies and procedures with a servant leadership mindset, ensuring timely, high-quality meals.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of prep/line cook experience in a full-service restaurant, good reading and math skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year minimum experience as a Prep/Line Cook in a full-service restaurant.
• Ability to read and follow recipes precisely.
• Good reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must work well with limited supervision and coordinate with team.

Responsibilities

• Provide awesome hospitality to all Customers.
• Prepare and portion items according to standards and recipes.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work area and adhere to safety procedures.
• Assist with receiving, storing and labeling products following FIFO.
• Support other Line Cooks and learn additional positions for teamwork.
