Job summary

Fish City Grill Prosper is seeking a Prep/Line Cook to prepare, cook and present Serious Seafood with PRIDE while maintaining a clean, sanitary station. You will follow recipes, ensure inventory accuracy and safety standards, and support other cooks during busy shifts.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication and adherence to company standards to deliver high-quality meals and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED preferred.
• Culinary degree or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year minimum experience as a Prep/Line Cook in a full service restaurant or equivalent.
• Good reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good judgment and decision making abilities.
• Must work well with limited supervision and interact with team members.

Responsibilities

• Live by a servant leadership philosophy to always serve others first.
• Prepare and plate items according to Fish City Grill/ Half Shell’s standards and recipes.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and uphold safety standards.
• Assist other line cooks and learn other positions to foster teamwork during peak periods.
• Provide awesome hospitality to all Customers and deliver quality product.
