Job summary

Fish City Grill in Plano, TX is seeking a dedicated Line Cook who can prepare, cook and present seafood dishes to our PRIDE standards while keeping a safe, clean workstation. You will follow recipes, maintain proper temperature controls, assist with receiving and stocking, and work as part of a team to deliver high-quality meals in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Culinary degree or equivalent preferred.
• 6–12 months minimum experience as a Prep/Line Cook in a full-service restaurant.
• Good reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present seafood dishes per standards with PRIDE.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary work area and follow cleanliness procedures.
• Adhere to recipes, ticket times and line checks to ensure quality.
• Assist with receiving, rotating and storing inventory; help other line cooks.
