Job summary

Rossville Consolidated School District is seeking a computer technician to support the district's technology program under the Director of Technology.

You will configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computers, iPads, printers, classroom AV equipment, telephones, and related devices; install software, upgrades, and patches; assist with network connectivity and cybersecurity practices; maintain inventory and repair records; and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and A+ certification.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience with computers and software proficiency.
• Able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computers, iPads, printers, and classroom AV equipment.
• Install software, upgrades, and patches on district devices.
• Assist with network equipment and connectivity for staff and students.
• Support cybersecurity practices and safe technology use.
• Maintain inventory and repair records for all devices.
• Perform other assigned technology duties as needed.
