Job summary

Cortica Care is seeking a School Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 behavior support for students with autism and neurodevelopmental differences in school settings. You will collaborate with educators, caregivers, and our clinical team to help students engage and succeed throughout their school day.

The role includes data collection, BIP implementation, and coordination with the educational team, aligned with each student’s IEP and school goals.

Qualifications

• At least one year of work experience in ABA / Behavior Technician roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to travel between work locations.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Execute BCAT responsibilities within 30 days where required by districts.
• Provide 1:1 and group ABA services in schools.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEPs.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate strategies into daily routines.
• Support student communication, social skills, self-regulation and self-care.
• Collect data and complete timely documentation of progress.
• Participate in observations, meetings and training.
• Travel between assigned work sites as needed.
