Job summary

Cortica Care is seeking a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in school settings. You will collaborate with educators and our clinical team to help students engage and learn during the school day.

The role emphasizes implementing BCAT-aligned interventions, data collection, and collaboration with school staff. A reliable commute between sites is required, and a BCAT certification must be obtained within 30 days where needed.

Qualifications

• BCAT certification must be obtained within 30 days where required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in ABA / Behavior Technician roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation; ability to travel between locations.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Execute BCAT-aligned behavior analytic services 1:1 and in group settings within schools.
• Implement individualized BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into daily routines.
• Support communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care in school contexts.
• Collect data and document session notes and incident reports.
• Attend classroom observations, team meetings, and trainings; follow safety and reporting procedures.
