Job summary

Cortica Care is seeking a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences in school settings. You will partner with educators and our clinical team to implement individualized behavior plans, monitor progress, and help students engage in learning throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or expected.
• Must obtain BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days of employment where district requires it.
• Must obtain safety training certification within 30 days of employment.
• Must maintain reliable transportation and be able to travel between work locations.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• TB clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute BCAT/behavior support tasks in school settings.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group behavior analytic services.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate strategies into daily routines.
• Support student communication, social skills, and self-regulation.
• Collect data on progress and complete timely documentation.
• Participate in classroom observations, meetings, and trainings.
• Follow safety and crisis protocols and mandated reporting procedures.
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed.
