Job summary

Cortica is hiring a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in school settings. You’ll work with educators and Cortica’s clinical team to help students succeed across their school day.

This role follows the school calendar with unpaid breaks during Winter, Spring, and Summer. You’ll collaborate on implementing BIPs, tracking progress, and supporting communication, social skills, and self-regulation in students.

Qualifications

• Must obtain BCAT certification within 30 days if required by districts.
• Experience supporting students with autism in school settings preferred.
• Strong data collection and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group behavior support in classrooms.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned to IEP.
• Collaborate with educators and clinical team.
• Document progress notes and incident reports promptly.
• Assist with de-escalation and safety procedures.
• Travel between assigned schools as needed.
