Job summary

Cortica is seeking a School Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in school settings, coordinating with educators and Cortica’s clinical team to help students succeed across their school day.

The role emphasizes BCAT certification within 30 days where required, at least one year of ABA experience, and a high school diploma. Reliable transportation is necessary to travel between sites within the service area.

Qualifications

• At least one year of ABA/Behavior Technician experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between sites.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior support to students in school settings.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEPs.
• Collect data on student progress and maintain session notes.
• Collaborate with school teams and clinicians to support learning.
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed.
