Job summary

Cortica Care is seeking a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in school settings. You will collaborate with educators, caregivers and Cortica’s clinical team to help students succeed across their school day, implementing BIPs and skill acquisition plans aligned with IEP goals.

This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with availability 7:30 AM–3:30 PM and travel between assigned school sites within the service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days wherever required by the district.
• Safety training certification within 30 days of employment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between work locations.
• TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Execute all responsibilities and skills associated with the BCAT certification and implement BCBA-aligned behavior plans.
• Provide direct 1:1 and group behavior analytic services in school settings.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into daily classroom routines.
• Support student development in communication, social skills, self-regulation and self-care as appropriate.
• Collect data on student progress and behaviors and maintain timely documentation.
• Participate in classroom observations, team meetings and school-based training.
• Follow safety and crisis protocols including de-escalation and mandated reporting procedures.
• Travel between assigned work sites as needed within the service area.
• Other duties as assigned.
