Job summary

Cortica is seeking a dedicated School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students in school settings. You’ll collaborate with educators, caregivers, and Cortica’s clinical team to help students succeed throughout their school day.

The role involves implementing BIPs, supporting communication and social skills, and following safety protocols. You may travel between assigned sites within the service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be able to obtain BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days where district requires.
• Obtain safety training certification within 30 days of employment.
• Maintain reliable transportation and travel between sites.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain it.
• TB clearance required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior support to students in school settings.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies.
• Document progress and complete session notes and incident reports.
• Travel between assigned school sites within the service area.
