Job summary

Cortica is seeking a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in California schools. You’ll collaborate with educators and Cortica’s clinical team to help students engage and learn throughout the school day.

The role requires BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days where required, data collection, and travel between sites. Hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday with paid minimum 4 hours per day when available.

Qualifications

• Must obtain BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days where required by the district.
• Must have or obtain safety training certification within 30 days of employment.
• Must maintain reliable transportation and travel between work locations.
• TB clearance and appropriate health/safety credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior support and implement BIPs aligned with IEPs.
• Deliver holistic, neurodiversity-affirming behavior analytic services in school settings.
• Collect data on progress and complete timely session notes and reports.
• Collaborate with school teams and participate in training and meetings.
• Support communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care development.
