Job summary

Cortica is seeking a dedicated School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in school settings. You’ll collaborate with educators and the clinical team to implement ABA strategies within educational environments.

The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with a minimum of 4 paid hours per day when assigned. A BCAT or RBT credential and ability to obtain safety training within 30 days are required, with travel between locations as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active BCAT or RBT credential is preferred/required.
• Ability to obtain safety training within 30 days of employment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between work locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct implementation of 1:1 and small group behavior analytic services in schools.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEP and school goals.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into daily routines.
• Support student development in communication, social skills, self-regulation and self-care as appropriate.
• Use a strengths-based treatment approach developed with the educational team.
• Collect data on student progress and behaviors during sessions and complete timely documentation.
• Follow school safety and crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting.
