Job summary

Cortica is seeking a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in school settings. You will work with educators, families, and Cortica's clinical team to help students succeed across their school day.

The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM, with a minimum of 4 hours of paid work per day when you remain available and accept assignments. Administrative hours may be 7:30–11:30 AM when not with a designated client.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in ABA/Behavior Technician roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation and travel between locations.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group ABA services in school settings.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEPs.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into routines.
• Support communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care.
• Collect data on student progress and complete session notes and incident reports.
• Participate in classroom observations, meetings, and training sessions.
• Follow school safety and crisis protocols and perform de-escalation when needed.
• Travel between assigned school sites as required.
